Matthew Holleb is an experienced attorney admitted to practice in Illinois and Colorado. He focuses on trade secret litigation, labor and employment counseling, and business law. With a background in both private practice and in-house counsel roles, Matthew has successfully represented clients across commercial, agricultural, and environmental sectors.

Before joining the firm, Matthew founded and grew his own legal practice in Boulder, Colorado, advising businesses on complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. He also serves as general counsel and a partner in a regenerative agriculture company, providing strategic legal and business guidance. His experience includes negotiating multi-million-dollar commercial agreements, drafting employment policies, and handling trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation. He has developed contract frameworks for businesses across multiple industries, including complex operating agreements, equity transfer arrangements, and regulatory compliance policies. Matthew earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2016 and his B.S. from the University of Vermont. He is also a graduate of the Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, where he conducted oceanographic research and crewed a research vessel on a transatlantic voyage.
